A goal of the Muscogee (Creek) Nation Scholarship Foundation Program is to provide a sustainable future for Muscogee (Creek) citizens through academic scholarships, support of community initiatives, and research.
To help achieve this goal, the Scholarship Foundation Program created an employee giving program designated as the Workplace Giving Program. As a part of its Vision, the Scholarship Foundation Program embraces the concept of exercising sovereignty and self-determination through traditional gift-giving and desires to extend an opportunity to the employees of the Muscogee (Creek) Nation.
A significant aspect of the Scholarship Foundation Program is to provide scholarship opportunities to citizens of the Muscogee (Creek) Nation who desire to pursue higher education. The Workplace Giving Program provides employees of the Muscogee (Creek) Nation an opportunity to give back to their communities and Nation. The Scholarship Foundation Program also provides an opportunity for employees to create scholarships in memory or honor of a friend or relative.
As a part of its fundraising effort, the Scholarship Foundation Program and the Workplace Giving Program anticipate to generate continuous revenue for the Scholarship Foundation Program by accepting donations from employees through bi-weekly payroll deductions and/or one time donations by personal check. As with all donations to the Scholarship Foundation Program, employee contributions are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.
