Goals

The Muscogee (Creek) Nation Scholarship Foundation Program is a Muscogee (Creek) Nation tribal government non-profit program qualified under Section 7871(a) of the Internal Revenue Service Code. This status is only afforded to federally-recognized tribes. All contributions to the Muscogee (Creek) Nation Scholarship Foundation Program are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.

Mission of the MCN Scholarship Foundation Program 

The Muscogee (Creek) Nation Scholarship Foundation Program’s central purpose is to promote self-sufficiency, proactive community participation, self-reliance, self-determination, tribal sovereignty, and a sustainable future for Muscogee (Creek) Nation citizens through traditional gift giving and support of academic scholarship, community initiatives, and research that benefit the growth and prosperity of Muscogee (Creek) Nation communities.

The Scholarship Foundation Program embraces core values of fulfilling community needs and respect of moral standards and ethics through the Creator’s teachings.

Financial Support

The Scholarship Foundation Program’s activities are supported by tax deductible gifts from the Muscogee (Creek) Nation employees through the Workplace Giving Program, Muscogee citizens, Contracting and Employment certified businesses, and the general public.  These gifts help to support academic scholarships, community initiatives, and research that benefits the growth and prosperity of the Muscogee (Creek) Nation communities.  If you, a family member, or a friend has been helped by the Muscogee (Creek) Nation, please consider giving back to the Muscogee (Creek) Nation in a special way that allows the Scholarship Foundation Program to support Muscogee students.
